KIRKUS REVIEW

James Bond, ordered to take a naturopathic cure, gets the real treatment on a traction table- someone is trying to kill him. It links up with his later assignment to deal with SPECTRE which like SMERSH is an organization of international thugs. In Nassau, an underwater search reveals the plane- with atomic bombs- SPECTRE has stolen and it also produces Domino, a fascinating, fearless girl... Like Bond, this has a cold authoritative excitement and is reliably potent and predatory stuff.
