Wilson’s playful kitten struggles with sharing and boasting in this well-meaning but ultimately unsuccessful tale that will please grown-ups more than it teaches toddlers. Heavy reliance on dialogue lifts the situations depicted beyond the comprehension of the toddlers it’s aimed at, despite the bright and child-friendly illustrations.
