This Week's IndieReader Top Ten

November 16, 2012 | Posted in Writing/Publishing

Last week, Jessica Sorenson’s The Secret of Ella & Micha jumped a healthy four spots ahead to number one in last week’s IndieReader Top 10 Indie Bestseller List; this week, The Secret of Ella & Micha still reigns supreme at number one on the list. The book is about Micha, who’s sexy, smart, confident, and can get under his childhood friend Ella’s skin like no one else can. He knows everything about her, including her darkest secrets. And he’s determined to bring his best friend (and the girl he loves) back, no matter what it takes.

Some nice nonfiction leaps onto the list this week: The Science of Good Cooking by The Editors of America's Test Kitchen and Guy Crosby lands at number three in it’s first week on the list. In addition to explaining how food science works (and why you should care), The Science of Good Cooking shows you the science. The book brings readers into the test kitchen with 50 unique (and fun) experiments engineered to illustrate (and illuminate) the science at work. And Lego Ninjago: Character Encyclopedia appears in its first week on the list at number four; with the book’s publication, little ninjas everywhere can now learn everything there is to know about their favorite Masters of Spinjitzu.

IndieReader's Top 10 Indie list is updated every week, using sources including Amazon, the New York Times, B&N.com and USA Today to determine what books make the cut. Check out the rest of this week's, and every week's, Indie bestsellers to see what's hot in Indie and self-publishing on their bestseller list.
