Former President Joe Biden will tell the story of his four years as president of the United States in a memoir, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Biden sold the book to Little, Brown for around $10 million, according to the newspaper, which cites “people familiar with the matter.”

Biden, who served 36 years as a U.S. senator from Delaware before being elected vice president in 2008 and president in 2020, is the author of two previous books: Promises To Keep: On Life and Politics, which was published in 2007, and Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose, published in 2017.

Biden has had a relatively quiet post-presidential life. In April, he made an appearance at the Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled conference in Chicago, where he slammed his successor, President Donald Trump, saying that the Republican’s administration “has done so much damage and so much destruction.” The next month, he announced that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive type of prostate cancer.

Publishers have traditionally paid a premium for presidential memoirs. Former President Bill Clinton received a $12 million payment for his memoir, My Life, while George W. Bush was paid $7 million for Decision Points. Barack and Michelle Obama reportedly signed a $65 million book deal for two books, one by each, with Penguin Random House in 2017.

There is no planned publication date for Biden’s memoir.
