Like the 1611 King James folio, the new Bible has decorative headings, initial letters, ornaments. Contains almost 1,000 pages, 13fl"" by 18(apple)"", printed from modified Cody type, bound in boards buckram covered, crimson with gold stamping, top edges in gold. The paper is water-marked, especially manufactured rag paper. This is Mr. Rogers' second lectern Bible, the first having been published in England in 1935. The edition for sale is limited to 975 numbered copies.
