of the great main religious traditions of Western civilisation can be maintained without of animosity among the adherents and opponents of these traditions. The three main parts of the book deal with the ""Heritage of Judaism"", ""The Genius of Catholicism"", and ""The Adventure of Protestantism"". This is a book which endeavors to cull out of the history of these three faiths the elements which are distinctive and pertinent for our life today. Probably the adherents of each faith will find much that is lacking and even many points of disagreement, but for the general reader this is a helpful and enlightening book, well written and easily read.
