ROBERT E. LEE and ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD
by ‧RELEASE DATE: N/A
Two young biographies, in virtually picture book format, but with substantial text. The first (Robert E Lee) seemed to us straight merchandise, with calendar chromotype of pictures by Wm. Hutchinson and a sentimentalized retelling of the facts of Lee's life; The Adventures of Robin Hood on the other hand, is a first rate recounting of episodes made familiar through story and screen, with traditional but lively pictures in full color and half tone by Jay Hyde Barnum. Both books with paper over board covers, brightly laminated, reenforced stitching.
