The caustic celebrity of the stage, screen and radio curbs her tongue in this her autobiography and opinions. It is light-casual-confidential, for the most part (1), as she reviews her social and stage-studded career. Convent reared didn't seem to ""take""), taken afterwards to France with her mother, editor of Vogue, a brief excursion into society, and then the stage. Producers, stars, Hollywood, which she hated, two marriages, and a radio program. Not as witty in this as she is reputed to be, but she has a wide audience, knows celebrities everywhere, and this is good enough autobiographical entertainment.
