On board are Peter Hamil, doctor, who left a too rich wife for the war fronts, and Mary, newspaper correspondent, on longer in love with an Army husband. Twenty four hour sea duty to Mary brings out Peter's love for her -- and here for him. He proves it too, by staying with the casualtis after the sh , but sees that she gets away. Not art, not literature certainly, but for more ervent rental moments.
