KIRKUS REVIEW

manual of applied Christianity,"" and as he shares his series of meditations the reader finds himself caught up and involved in a most challenging and healthy way. In the author's light, the reader sees in a new light of his own, which is what the author seeks to accomplish. The book is substantial enough for a full year's devotion and meditation. There are 28 chapters (following the significant portions of the text) and each chapter has several sections which are complete in themselves. This is not and exposition for scholars but food for the spirit of any average Christian who wants to become more than average.
