READ REVIEW

CHRISTIANITY AND THE SOCIAL REVOLUTION

Not escape reading but quite as absorbing, for the challenge is clearcut and the subject matter startling, to say the least. It is not a book to be read at one sitting but a book to read, weigh and consider as honestly and impartially as possible for any one brought up in the so-called Christian tradition or alive with the enthusiasm of Communism. Both sides of the picture are presented and both groups have their chance to speak. Men like Needham, Raven and MacMurray formed the editorial board assisted by well known scholars of Christianity and Communism. It is a book for those who are awake to the crisis we are facing and it may well prove the alarm to rouse many who are sleeping while their foundations crumble and burn. Clergy, students, teachers, Christians and Communists.
