THE SOUL OF ENGLAND

The Beauty of Britain edited by Priestley created a mild furor in many shops. It was written to enchant travellers with the many unexplored beauty spots rather than the usual resorts. Here is a companion volume given over to the ""English man"" whose love and care have kept that beauty unmolested and preserved. It is equally well done; the contributors, many of them authors of books in the English Countryside Series are all sympathetic interested Britons proud of their country and their heritage. Their subjects, ranging from the landscape, the country church and the Inn to sport in the country are all significant of the well rounded life the Englishman leads. Your customers will be those who bought the first book, countryside enthusiasts, travellers -- everyone who wants a treat.
