KIRKUS REVIEW

The who's telling who team of Bertha Cool and Donald Lam head into dollars and cookies in Honolulu when they are hired by Bicknell to protect Mira Woodford, widow of his partner. Blackmail, murder, oriental impassivity and their Santa Claus of a client keep Bertha greedy and Donald doing OK with the dames. His sharp angles soften up the case and take care of the cash. Triphammer.
