MURDER AT THE SCHOOLHOUSE

Cunningham's first Kentucky hillbilly dead-and-goner got a good press. This seems to us less successful than Murder at Deer Lick. A young, pretty school-teacher is done in and slow-moving but fast-witted Sheriff Roden is again on the scene. The suspects are many, but the mystery angle is easy and the somersault finish not too good. Local color.
