MONSTER TRACKS?

In soft pencil drawings and very few words, Harry and his shaggy big dog Sam go outdoors after a snowfall and follow some ""great big gal-lumping tracks"" into the woods. Then Harry hears something behind him, runs off in panic, and stumbles--all the while imagining, as we see in his thought balloons, a hairy monster on his tail. The monster, though, is only Sam--a predictable outcome to a slight anecdote, though various points in the imagined scenario afford some mild amusement.
