A TALE OF TWO HORSES

I read and loved Tschiffely's Ride and was sceptical about the same background material being reworked -- successfully --into the story as told by the horses themselves. But he has succeeded, and as the horses alternate in telling the story of their amazing trip up through South America, Central America and on to Washington, D.C., one gets not only the distinctive temperaments of the horses themselves, but of their owner -- and the people they met -- and the countries they passed through. Good yarn, original in the telling.
