KIRKUS REVIEW

Remember England, Their England? If you missed it, your customers have a bone to pick with you. It's grand fun reading -- grand fun selling -- and much appreciated! Now here is more fun -- a Scotchman visiting America, avoiding -- as nearly as possible -- all the things he was told he must do, wishing he could duck the social amenities, but all in all getting -- and giving -- a lot of fun out of his trip. Peek at the account of a football game at Princeton -- and the record breaking ride with Louis (Freidman, is my guess) from San Francisco to Los Angeles -- and, and, and.... See for yourself. He has a contagious chuckle tucked into odd corners. It is refreshing.
