KIRKUS REVIEW

A promising candidate for a field in which each newcomer finds a place. People to whom arithmetic is a laborious, half-forgotten process are finding it a necessary tool. This strikes me as an excellent book for even the non-mathematically minded layman, as brief background and story, modern illustrations and examples, and reasonable progression through addition, etc. to percentage make this fun to do.
