EVERYGIRL'S CAREER STORIES

Healthy career stories by a variety of established authors look at various occupations from signing to science- but the longest glance by far is at Journalism. Of the dozen or so selections, about half are on newspapering, including A Feeling For Human Interest by Lavinia Davis, Bea Chalmers' The Contest and one on news photography by Helen Olds. As to the others Reginia Woody writes about ballet, Stephen Bennett about a girl lab technician, Helen Ciancimino about writing, etc. And to a good degree, all of the stories emphasize self fulfillment and getting along with one's fellow workers.
