Watch your step here. Not a chance of repeating Water Gypsies success, in the American market. The theme of this book is too British in viewpoint and substance, to be of vital interest over here, for the whole story is built on the anomalies of the British divorce laws, and of conditions that have only faint parallels in this country. The propaganda element is too insistent for the story and characterizations to override it, convincing as they are. Well done, but limited in appeal.
