LARRISH HUNDRED

A good portrait of present day Tidewater Virginia, with its hunting, fishing, and country way of life rhapsodized -- background for a battle to the finish between Ben Larrish, gentleman-sportsman, owner of The Kingdom, and Sile, Mating Ben and getting back at him by poaching wild life sanctuary and breaking game laws. Well distilled, with interweaving of plot threads, of the country and of two types of men, at one with their love for the life and land and hating each what the other stands for, the drama of their enmity darkening the serenity of the place.
