FACE TO THE SUN

By

Publisher: Bruce

Although many Americans do not consider General Franco the deliverer of Spain, this story of the Civil War, beginning in 1931, with its defense of the Alcazar, Teruel and other events, is fair reading as a story, at times full of suspense, and always a picture of the sorrows, horrors and cruelties of war, regardless of whose side the reader may be on. The publisher presents this book as a ""truthful story of the ravages of Communism in Spain."" Not all readers will agree with the interpretation given by the author, but all will agree that war, and this particular civil war, was hell! Primarily for the Catholic market.
