SNEEZLES; THE KING'S BREAKFAST; INTRODUCING WINNIE-THE-POOH; CHRISTOPHER ROBIN'S OLD SAILOR

Let's hope each one of these serves as passport to the ownership of Now We Are Six, When We Were Very Young and Winnie the Pooh. For I'd hate to think that these could possibly serve as substitutes. The four slim volumes- square, paper and board bindings- Shepard illustrations with color overlay- contain a total of about two dozen verses or stories from these modern classics. The humor is there and the inimitable story telling. The adult who has scarcely realized how intimately Milne has invaded our vocabularies will find many ""originals"" as reminders to go back to those first, real, chunky, grown-up feeling books.
