THE GENTLEMEN OF THE PARTY

The Long Furrow was the story of a man who loved the farm and all it stood for, and sacrificed all to it. This is the story of a farm, Sutton Manor, from 1872 to the present. A quiet tale, with the theme echoed frequently in American novels of the soil:-the land is the ultimate judge of what men do to it. Not for a wide sale, but there are many who like the quiet charm of a story of the English country-side.
