The author of this primer of ordinary Christian life at its best that many spiritual books are not read because of lack of interest. His write a book that will be interesting and ""treat the fundamentals of the life in a simple but logical way."" Perhaps this book will interest, find other spiritual books to their taste, but it is doubtful that it will those who have already developed a taste for spiritual reading. It is the fundamentals only, and its treatment is certainly simple and logical. time, however, its style is very prosaic and there is little displayed in the author's considerations, exhortations, illustrations and counsels. Of the soundness of his doctrinal treatment and the Christian of his advice there can be no doubt.
