SIMON PETER, FISHER OF MEN

In this ""fictionalized autobiography"" the Apostle Peter is found telling the story of his life to John Mark, and the result is a readable story. After a brief account of his younger days as a fisherman the book follows the familiar scriptural story of the ministry of Jesus and the part played in it by Peter. While Peter is made to live before us as a real human being, the side lights thrown on the mission of Jesus seem to over-emphasize the miraculous element. If young people can be induced to read the book they will enjoy it.
