CHRISTIANITY AND THE RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD

The author of this book is one of the rare spirits of today. This gives greater significance to anything he writes. As a medical missionary, he has spent most of his life in Central Africa, and that story he has told elsewhere (see report on page 77 -- AFRICAN NOTEBOOK.) He has tested Christianity in ""the nick of the battle of ideas"", as he puts it, and found it adequate. This book is the result and should be valuable for use with intellectual doubters, honest seekers, medical men, artists, musicians -- for Dr. Schweitzer belongs in many groups. Add to Lenten recommendations.
