JOAN FOSTER: FRESHMAN

Modernized version of the familiar college tale, featuring the attractive, popular freshman who gets into scholastic and financial hot water till she learns to budget time as well as money. The college she attends is a sort of composite, I take it, of the Eastern women's colleges, and the college background is authentic. Pure formula stuff, not up to the generally high average of recent career stories for girls, but freshmen-to-be-will enjoy it. This can also go into the lower brackets of the next highest age group.
