AT MIDNIGHT CREEK

The golden promise of Midnight Creek, a mining town, is dimmed by the unhappy reality of violence- as a wild bunch disturbs the peace and the new sheriff disappears. Sam Llewellyn, once a vigilante, and anxious to avoid bloodshed, is forced to participate in the reprisals when two men are killed and the offenders brought to trial- but the final guilt and treason is the Sheriff's- who faces the judgment of a vigilante tribunal..... Stern stuff- and spartan too.
