THE GREAT GOLDWYN

Hardly so formal as a biography, this sketch of the movie magnate, told in the manner of a press agent story. There is little connected sequence of his life here, but a collection of anecdotes, swift paced and amusing, about a high powered high pressure monarch. Through this and that one gets a fairly rounded character sketch, showing enormous ego, complete unrestraint, continual push, energy of a self-made man who has become a leader in the motion picture game. Told in Hollywood lingo, loose in construction and rambling. One feels that the author has looked through available notes and stopped when he came to the end. Not an item for a wide market, but might interest those who thirst for Hollywood scandal sheets.
