LIFE AND DEATH

The question as to how many medical reminiscences the market can absorb seems to depend on the freshness and news value of the approach. This should be interesting because of the contrast of conditions in Italy with this country. Secure in his Milanese fame, Dr. Majoochi looks back over a thorny road, and in addition to his account of his medical training and experiences, he gives his student life, dueling, war experiences, philosophy. Less impersonal, more emotional than previous books in the field --interesting reading.
