TREASURE TRAILS: IN ART

Miss Chandler is famous for her story telling at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. She builds around a picture (or some other form of art treasure) not only a story that is true about the artist's life, but a story that weaves into it incidents that might have been true, and that help identify the artist, his work and his special claim to fame. And that has what she has done in this group of stories about artists of the world. Illustrated in color. A good introduction to art study, though one could wish the color reproductions were a little truer.
