Excellent collection of short plays fitting the demand for Easter, Arbor Day, May Day, Mother's Day, etc. Little emphasis on patriotic material, which can be found elsewhere, but plays for the most part, of everyday life in preference to historical incident, with a few in the spirit of fantasy. Most of them are planned for children in the grades, but there is one for very little children for Easter. Numbers of characters and importance of parts sufficiently varied. Little detail of production, but hints for individual development. The last few belong to the ""character building"" type.
