ULTIMATUM

A splinter group of Palestinian terrorists hijack a French nuclear warhead being shipped to Syria, hide it (it's not very big) in a hollowed out stack of Oriental rugs, and ship it to London. The London arm of this group is already under surveillance by a deep-cover Israeli spy team. When the Palestinians mail an ultimatum to the Prime Minister and the US Ambassador, demanding a free Palestine with $10 billion fresh capital--or else London will be blown up in 72 hours--the West gets ready to sell out Israel. The terrorists threaten to explode the warhead at the slightest provocation from the police. But the Israeli spies are on top of the situation and join Scotland Yard for a dicey climax. Premeditated, but serviceable.
