GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY

Goodbye to Yesterday is like the Promise of Tomorrow unless it might be the quiet hour of today -- namely about Heather Stevens, a librarian (town) asked to go through the 10,000 books of a dying rich man whose two nephews are at odds (one's nice; one's rotten) and hopefully Heather will find the letter which will exonerate one of them re the mission in Vietnam which proved fatal to a friend. There's also a missing copy of a first edition of Tamerlane which we're ready to give to anyone who can distinguish between this and Emilie Loring in mufti.
