The widespread discussion of the article in Readers' Digest will make the sale of this pamphlet of considerable interest, Mrs. Banning takes a middle path. She holds no brief for the modern trend away from chastity, goes, perhaps, too superficially into the basis and reasons for it, but presents a good case, for the young, in defense of chastity as a modus vivendi. She understresses the part played by emotions, perhaps, but her position is sound, tenable, and a good basis for a code. A book which may help the worried parent.
