THE PENGUIN THAT HATED THE COLD

Pablo, a South Pole penguin who declares that ""cold weather is for the birds -- the other birds,"" sets off for warmer climes (after a few looney-tuneish false starts) in a boat carved from the ice under his igloo. Inevitably the boat and igloo melt as they near their destination, but Pablo, with his bathtub as a vessel and a shower pipe for propulsion, jets on over to his tropic isle. The story is adapted from a Disney film and we can easily picture it as a Saturday morning rerun, the absence of commercials being the chief advantage of its translation to a hot medium.
