THE SILVER COBWEB

Ralph Lindsey, still booting in Massachusetts territory, combines policing and pleasure in a case involving small town murder for big time reasons. The secret honeymoon cabin of a young engaged couple proves too close for comfort to the hideaway of a bank robber, so honeymoon spot turns to horror. Ralph gets buffeted for misbehavior, figures some things right, finds some things out from an attractive entertainer who catches his eye, and survives the ""shaping"" of his superior (he nabbed the murderer early, by the way -- the motive was the question). Again good.
