This is still Goggle as seen through the eyes of his fond father (he first appeared in This is Goggle- 1955) and some may well find that he's at a more awkward age for the indulgence of sentiment now that he reaches the state of ""manhood."" Young Cameron has had a year of study in England, after prep school, and has returned to the suburban nest with new wings and affectations to awe his progenitors. There is young love, a graceless flunk-out at Princeton, a face-saving retreat into the Coast Guard, and eventually a young marriage to a girl not wholly of the ""proper"" kind for him, at least as the Plagemanns see it. There are many parents today who have experienced just this kind of problem prodigal son, and they may empathasize with the Plagemanns' parentbird concern which now extends to their new daughter-in-law.
