Butch proved quite a problem in play school, where he showed that he knew nothing about group activities and play. He wanted to be the boss -- and the result was that he was left to himself. A bitter lesson, this, but well-learned, and soon Butch found that school was more fun when he was on the giving rather than the taking end. Very charming pictures which virtually tell the story for the younger children, and a manuscript type which takes it out of easy reading, but is at one with the illustrations, both by Beryl Bailey-Jones.
