A LONG WAY FROM BOSTON

An American background Our Hearts Were Young And Gay, as two cultured (but unbroken) Boston girls set out to see their own country in the '20's in their model T. They pooh-poohed parental opposition and started via Canada for Chicago and points west, counting on disarming smiles, whacky lucky, courage, $200 and a box of bungalow aprons to sell. In Seattle, they paused to revive while the author stumbled on an advertising Chamber of Commerce sort of job. Later they moved on to San Francisco. And Christmas found them leading a plush life with relatives in Los Angeles. A brief extension of the wanderlust brought them back as far as New Orleans where ""Henrietta"" gave out and they took a boat home. Titillating travelogue, humor-wise.
