BETTY CORNELL'S GLAMOUR GUIDE FOR TEENS

A simple, attractive approach to the grooming and appearance problem -- excellent for the young teens. Without the questionable aid of the popular syndicated subdeb argot, the text in direct, free and easy, attending to the ""how's"" rather than the ""why 'a"". Planty of material covered -- figure problems, skin troubles, hair, makeup, general grooming, clothes, and ""extras"" such as how to earn extra money, some modeling tips, and personality hints. Although the approach is girl-to-girl, the advice is sane, authoritative, and parents and teachers should approve, too. Attractive format with an appendix of exercises, a caloric table, and an index.
