REVERIES OF AN OUTDOOR MAN

The author of this delightful sportsman's autobiography is Outdoor Editor of the Philadelphia Record, contributor to Sport Afield, Colliers, etc. He has the rare faculty of making his readers feel as if the the were sharing his experiences. From boyhood memories of learning to know the out-of-doors with his grandfather, he goes to nature delights, as the fishes all sorts of streams, and pools and lakes, as he shoots small game. His charm lies not in the adventure itself, but in the spirit of outdoors, the pull of the fish, the flight of birds, the sight, sound, taste, smell of the out of doors. He makes his companions live for you. He has himself a delightfully contrary streak, he gets as much fun out of his failures as out of his successes. A perfect gift for anyone who likes to relive his own sporting days. Full of quiet humor, good story telling, and generous sharing of working knowledge... The Limited is being published in December- colored frontis- special format.
