A FEAST OF PIKES

The title's also that of a movie to be quickly made in Greece ahead of the (then) junta by a number of people who never seem to stay on location in their personal lives; they're mostly beautiful and unhappy and given to ""trendy"" words like ""luvly"" when the situation is quite otherwise. Film star Di's son has disappeared over there; so for a short time just after her sudden marriage and before her equally sudden death does confused Hetty; while the script-writing narrator loses his girl by a couple of crowded weeks. More for TV than Cannes and too much and too little at one and the same time.
