TIMOTHY TITUS

Another of these realistic stories that read as if they came out of the child's own ""story-telling"" and for that reason are designed to fit into nursery school work. This one seems to us less good than some of its predecessors. The simulated verse form, almost scanned prose, strikes an artificial note. The story of the little boy and his hunt for his mother is negligible. In format the book measures up admirably:- size 7 x 5 1/2; wrapper, papersides, end papers and sixteen pictures in four color; 16 in black and white.
