Reliable basics on proper nutrition, regular exercise, and efficient stress management. In each instance, a self-assessment guide is followed by rudimentary background information (why to improve) and then a plan (how to improve). There are no surprises: eat more unrefined carbohydrates, eat less sugar; provide for aerobic, strength, and flexibility exercises; recognize your stressors and learn techniques to cope with them. Finally, ""Your Health and Fitness Lifestyle"" summarizes the approach: in changing your health habits, define your needs and goals, develop a plan of action, then be patient with yourself while you carry it out. Helpful, surely--but with far less detail than other guides (the Strang series, in particular) that have covered the same ground.
