RETRACING GENGHIS KHAN

In somewhat the spirit of Mexican Odyssey two adventurous youths set forth to visit Afghanistan. They join forces in Calcutta, procure a car, and plunge into all sorts of Halliburtouesque adventures -- a bit questionable from angle of taste in retrospect, but fun to read about. They escaped a revolution by a hairsbreadth -- crossed part of Persia and were bogged down in Turkey- Fresh and new.
