THE COMPLETE BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO BOWLING

With fewer frills and much more attention to fundamentals than Liss' Bowling Talk for Beginners (KR, 1973), Dolan provides the older, more serious bowler with detailed instruction in the proper approach, swing, release and handling of spares. The recommended techniques are based mostly on Frank Clause's How to Win at Bowling and Judy Audsley's Bowling for Women but Dolan adds material on trouble-shooting common errors, lane etiquette, equipment, scoring and even the history and variations of the ten pins game.
