THE COMPLETE BOOK OF BREASTFEEDING, Rev. ed.

The original edition of this ""bible of breast-feeding"" has sold over one million trade and paperback copies since 1972. This updated edition includes the latest scientific research plus sections devoted to working mothers, the role of fathers, and female sexuality during breast-feeding. At nearly 300 pages, there is inevitably some padding as well as digressions into the proper handling of pregnancy, ""beauty tips"" for the nursing mother and so on. The authors also proselytize strenuously for breast-feeding, thus laying yet another guilt trip on the female of the species. This one will appeal to mothers-to-be who want it all laid out and then some. For others, Breast-feeding Basics and Parents Book of Breast-feeding cover the ground with considerably less verbiage.
