FIRELIGHT

It's a third book, and it shows that Mr. Spiller's store of swell stories is inexhaustible. In quality it is unbeatable. Again he switches the keys of the emotions from gales to tears so easily and quickly that you are taken right out of yourself, lost in the open country of New England. It's golf, it's bear, it's grouse, and it's always good reading, writing and entertainment. Grouse Feathers is selling at a high premium, Thoroughbred is almost ""O.D"". so be sure people who are collecting the set are supplied. If you put a hole in their Spiller Set they'll never forgive you. Lynn Bogue Hunt has done inimitable illustrations for it while the medallion on the front by Dr. Burke is the enchanting woodcock from Feathered Game.
